Who invented Reese’s peanut butter cups?

Reese’s peanut butter cups was invented by Harry Burnett Reese in 1928. At the age of 38, he was an employee of the Hershey Chocolate Company. In that job he doing experiments of making candy.

At that time he made this because one of his customers in Harrisburg reported supply problems of peanut butter cups with another candymaker. He quit the job and started his own business of making peanut butter cups and established a company named H.B. Reese Candy Company.
